Purpose and scope
FourSight Technologies Inc. (“FourSight”) expects the suppliers, subcontractors, contractors and agents we work with (“suppliers”) to share our standards. This Code applies to every supplier providing goods or services to FourSight or to our clients on our behalf, and suppliers are expected to apply equivalent standards in their own supply chains.
Legal compliance
Suppliers must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to them, including employment, health and safety, privacy, anti-corruption, competition, export and environmental laws.
Human rights and labour
- No forced, compulsory, bonded or prison labour, modern slavery or human trafficking. Workers are free to leave on reasonable notice, keep their own identity documents and pay no recruitment fees.
- No child labour. Young workers are never assigned hazardous work.
- Wages, benefits and working hours meet at least legal requirements, and workers receive clear written terms.
- No discrimination or harassment on any protected ground.
- Respect for freedom of association and collective bargaining.
- A safe and healthy workplace.
These expectations follow our Human Rights and Labour Policy.
Business ethics
- No bribery, kickbacks or facilitation payments, and no improper gifts or hospitality.
- Conflicts of interest are disclosed to FourSight.
- No bid-rigging, price-fixing or other anti-competitive conduct.
- Records, invoices and timesheets are accurate and complete.
- Suppliers supporting our public sector work comply with the procurement rules that apply to that work, including the Government of Canada Code of Conduct for Procurement.
Information security and privacy
- Client and FourSight information is kept confidential and used only for the agreed purpose.
- Suppliers protect systems that hold our or our clients’ data with multi-factor authentication, encryption, timely patching and least-privilege access.
- Personal information is handled in line with PIPEDA and our Privacy Policy.
- Suppliers notify FourSight within 24 hours of discovering a security incident that may affect our or our clients’ data.
- Suppliers tell us where they store our or our clients’ data, including any storage outside Canada.
Environment
- Suppliers comply with environmental laws and work to reduce energy use, waste and emissions.
- Electronic waste is handled only by certified recyclers, in line with the Basel Convention.
- Hardware suppliers source minerals responsibly; see our Conflict Minerals Statement.
Subcontracting
Suppliers may not subcontract work for FourSight clients without our written approval, and any approved subcontractor must meet this Code.
Monitoring and consequences
FourSight may ask suppliers to confirm compliance, provide information or take part in reasonable reviews. Where a supplier falls short, we will work with them on corrective action. Serious or repeated breaches, including any use of forced or child labour or bribery, may lead to termination of the relationship.
Raising a concern
Concerns can be raised confidentially by emailing [email protected] with “Confidential” in the subject line. We never retaliate against anyone raising an issue in good faith.
