Policy
Keeping our people, our clients and their workplaces safe.
FourSight Technologies Inc. is committed to the health and safety of its workers and of everyone at the client sites where we work. We comply with Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations. As the employer, we provide information, training and supervision, keep equipment safe, and take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances. Workers are responsible for working safely, following procedures, using required protective equipment and reporting hazards, incidents and injuries immediately. On client premises, our team follows the client’s site safety rules in addition to this policy.
Violence against any worker, client or visitor, including threats and attempted violence, is not tolerated, whether it happens at our office, at a client site, online or at a work-related event. Anyone who experiences or witnesses workplace violence must report it immediately to the Lead Partner, and to 911 where there is immediate danger. We assess the risk of workplace violence and put measures in place to control it.
Workplace harassment, including workplace sexual harassment, is not tolerated from anyone in the workplace, including employees, contractors, clients and suppliers. Harassment includes engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome. Reasonable management action, such as performance feedback, is not harassment.
Team members working remotely or alone at client sites keep in regular contact, share their schedule, and may stop work if they believe it is unsafe.
