Environmental Policy

Our commitment

FourSight Technologies Inc. recognizes that information technology has an environmental footprint, from the energy devices use to the waste they become. We are committed to complying with applicable environmental laws and to reducing our impact, and our clients’ impact, where we reasonably can.

How we work

• Remote first: we resolve most support requests remotely, which reduces travel. When on-site work is needed, we group visits and favour public transit where practical.
• Longer device life: we maintain, repair and upgrade equipment to extend its useful life before recommending replacement.
• Efficient hardware: when we supply equipment, we favour energy-efficient products, such as those with ENERGY STAR or EPEAT registration, where available.
• Responsible e-waste: end-of-life equipment is wiped securely and sent to certified electronics recyclers, never to landfill.
• Digital first: we use electronic documents, invoices and signatures instead of paper wherever possible.
• Efficient infrastructure: we help clients consolidate servers, adopt efficient cloud services and switch off unused resources.

Measuring and improving

As a young company, we do not yet measure our greenhouse gas emissions. We are working towards measuring our main sources of emissions, setting reduction targets, and reporting progress as we grow.
