Policy
How to raise a concern, and how we protect people who do.
FourSight Technologies Inc. wants people to speak up when something seems wrong. This policy explains how to raise a concern and how people who do so are protected. It applies to employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and anyone else connected with our business.
We acknowledge reports within five business days, assess them promptly, and investigate fairly and independently of anyone involved. Where possible, we tell the person who reported the outcome. Where a concern is confirmed, we take corrective action and, where required, notify the relevant authorities or clients.
Reports are handled confidentially, and the identity of the person reporting is shared only where necessary to investigate or required by law. No one will be dismissed, disciplined, threatened or otherwise penalized for reporting a concern in good faith, even if it turns out to be mistaken. Retaliation is itself a serious breach of this policy. Protections under law also apply, including the Criminal Code prohibition on retaliating against employees who report wrongdoing to law enforcement.
Knowingly making a false report is a breach of this policy.
